  • Thai names: หูกวาง Hu kwang (Central); โคน Khon (Narathiwat); ดัดมือ Dat mue, ตัดมือ Tat mue (Trang); ตาปัง Ta pang (Phitsanulok, Satun); ตาแปห็ Ta-pae (Malay-narathiwat); หลุมปัง Lum pang (Surat Thani).
  • Chinese names: 榄仁树 lan ren shu
  • Distribution: Native range is uncertain. It has long been naturalised in a broad belt extending from Africa to northern Australia and New Guinea through Southeast Asia and Micronesia into the Indian Subcontinent
